Transfer rules in tournaments from 2 groups

To be able to make a tournament with 2 or more groups and where everyone registered can play in a final phase depending on their position, follow these steps.

1. Make sure all players are registered

2. On page 1 "Main" should be the final page of the main tournament (Direct Elimination)

note:

The size of the "Draw" (64 to 128 players) must adapt to the number of subscribers and how many will actually go to this page. (Example: if we have 8 players and 4 pass, we have to change the Draw to 2 to 4 players)

After the draw size is set and "Save Settings" we can build from template.

3. Create the draws from the template

In this case we have 8 teams, we will make 2 groups of 4 teams.

In red are the numbers of possible groups for the number of teams.

Blue is the number of teams who will go to page 1 "Main".

4. Groups or Round Robins

Note:

- Group 1 and 2 (editable boxes), don't forget to Save whenever there is a change.

- When create the groups using the template, transfers are only automatic for page 1 (Main).

Note:

- By default the groups will always be "Round robin" points for victory and points for defeat, also editable.

- if the groups are small and you want the teams to play double rounds, check the "Twice Round" box

- In order for players to move to "Main", you will have to "Finish this page"

- If you want to make another draw for the players who came last in the group, we will have to create a new page and add the transfers manually.

5. Creating of Consolation Draw / B Draw (Plate)

This new draw can be "Single Elimination" or "Round Robin", depending on what the organization wants or the availability of courts for the tournament

For players to move to this draw, they will have to return to the groups transfers and add new transfer rule

6. Add Transfer Rule

A new page will open, to define the final position, destination page, in which position and what name will be behind the description name

Steps:

1st - Destination Page, choose the page where players will play the final round.

2nd - Final position, if there are no teams in this group nothing will appear to select, it will depend on how many teams are in this group

3rd - Enter Draw Position, if the number of players is the same, they can copy the Main entries or can choose "Random"

4th - Transfer name, this is what will appear in Main B before the group is finalized.

5th or Optional - Transfer Title, short description about where the team came from (Example: 3rd in group A -> 3GA)

7. Create Main Draw

8. Reset this section

When choosing this option all players return to page 1, groups and transfer rules are all deleted.

You can do everything again, draws and groups with automatic transfers.
